Since 1881, AAUW (formerly known as the American Association of University Women) has been the nation's leading voice promoting education and equity for women and girls. Nationally, we are a network of nearly 100,000 members, 1,000 branches, and 500 college/university institution partners.
The Denton Branch of AAUW was organized in 1927. Members are diverse in age, ethnicity, gender, and profession, but together we are committed to promoting equity and education for women and girls. Texas Woman's University is a College/University Partner Member.
