Andrew Tinker (born July 19, 1984) is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Denton, Texas. Tinker has performed and recorded with various local ensembles, and was a founding member of the Polyphonic Spree in 2000. He recorded french horn on the band’s first two albums, earning a UK silver record for The Beginning Stages of... He left the group in 2003 to attend the University of North Texas, graduating summa cum laude from the College of Music in December 2007. It was during his time at UNT that he met the musicians with whom he would eventually share the stage.

In the spring of 2009, Tinker independently released his debut full length album, It Takes the World, and assembled a configuration of musicians for live performances and future recordings consisting of Jeff Randall (drums), Kelyn Crapp (guitar), and Julia Adamy (bass). He is currently involved in establishing his presence in the north Texas region, actively playing shows and promoting his album.
