Bowling Green Park is an 18-acre park just southeast of North Lakes Park (actually, they're sort of connected).  It's got pretty trees, lots of grass and a community garden!

Community Garden

Bowling Green Park is home to a community garden.  You can reserve a plot of land and grow things!  If you give the city parks department a call at (940) 349-7275 they may be able to help you reserve a plot.  The plots are private, so you're not supposed to pick or harvest from them unless you own the plot.
