Denton is full of opportunities to hang out with cool people in cool places. Favorite places are The Square, the many coffee shops, the UNT and TWU campuses, and the Denton Parks.
The square is a popular hangout spot. There is always plenty to do there. Some evenings, there are drum circles on the lawn of the courthouse.

- Cups and Crepes is a restaurant on Fry Street that offers coffee and breakfast items. It is generally only open from 8 am to 3 pm. It closes Sundays and Mondays.
