Jed Smock's website states their purpose... "Our purpose is to declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the college and university students of America and the world. The skeptics on the campuses are constantly condemning God and justifying their unbelief. Our goal is to defend and glorify God and his government so that every mouth may be stopped and all the world become guilty before the Judge of mankind."
Jed Smock's website states their desire... "Our desire is to see men and women reconciled to God through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world."
Jed Smock is a vulgar, offensive preacher who visits various campuses, including UNT. Through his hateful, ignorant preaching, he presents Christianity as a wholly condemning faith, without the slightest mention of God's gift of salvation through faith in His son, Jesus Christ. (Yes, his website's 'desire' mentions reconciliation to God through repentance... but it's another thing to include this message verbally, not only for appearances on his website.)
Some of Jed Smock's rantings could be deemed humorous, so grab a piece of sidewalk and some coffee or tea, and have a laugh the next time he visits Denton, Texas!
An entirely different ministry, Tom Short Campus Ministries, has been mistaken for Jed Smock's ministry. These two ministries are not in affiliation with one another.
