Panhandle Street is a length of road a mile and a half long which is mainly occupied by students of either the University of North Texas or Texas Woman's University.
The Jamhandle
Panhandle Street is also known as "The Jamhandle" because of the high concentration of bands that practice throughout the week between Carroll Blvd and Bryan Street.
