Patrick Burke (lovingly known to some s Flatrick) is a local man whose mission is to spread the word of flat earth. Once known for riding off with an old saddle, Patrick can often be seen around town in his signature hatchback covered in informative flat earth decals and writing. The Dentonite did an interview with Patrick in 2017 which shed more light on his motivations and humble beginnings.

"You may have seen his cars around town, they are often parked on the Square or Fry St., each adorned with various Hawaiian leis, spray paint, a telescope, and even a few stickers denoting Patrick and other’s belief in Flat Earth. Hoping to go viral, he leaves them around town in an attempt to draw attention to the cause. Patrick invites those skeptics who would doubt the validity of his claim to engage him in conversation in hopes that he might be able to persuade them otherwise. We wanted to learn more about where Patrick’s passion comes from, and why he feels it's important to pass his knowledge onto others."

On Sunday February 6th 2022, it was claimed via Reddit that Patrick died in 2022 from complications from COVID19. Citation is needed, as no obituary has been found. Subsequent Facebook posts claim he had been spoken to as of February 7, 2022.
