Quakertown Park is a park in Denton.  Originally a neighborhood named "Quakertown", all but one of the dwellings were razed and the land was changed into "Civic Center Park" when local whites felt that the College of Industrial Arts (eventually, TWU) was denied funding because of the predominately black occupants of the nearby Quakertown.

The Civic Center Park was later renamed to "Quakertown Park" as tribute to the community.

New paths started construction in early 2012.
