The Hydrant Cafe was a coffee bar in Denton, TX. It has been replaced by Denton Square Donuts. Update: Denton Square Donuts closed down. 208 W. Oak Street now houses Painting With A Twist.
The owner, Glen Haas, is a big fan of the localvore movement and supported it by offering locally-roasted coffee by Eiland and Bookish Coffee. The Hydrant closed its doors over the 2011 New Year in order to reopen as the Hydrant Cafe and Pub, specializing in not only local coffee but Texas micro-brews and fine wine.
