Wright Opera House and Parlin and Orendorff, Photograph, ca. 1900

The Wright Opera House is one of Denton's more distinctive buildings. Located at 200 N Locust and built in 1899 for $25,000, it was the elite showcase of Denton. Built from the bricks from the condemned 1870s Courthouse, the Wright Opera House operated until 1913, due to the advent of cinema.

It was later Kibler Office Supply.

The building now houses Recycled Books and eight luxury apartments on the second and third floors.
