Kevin Collard was a Radio Producer at WJR-Detroit (1993-2009) known as "Major gets" for his ability to track down anyone in the middle of a breaking news story. born in Pontiac, Michigan on may 5th, 1967 his Father managed an aircraft parts company and his mother worked with the adult mentally challenged. raised in Waterford, Michigan he graduated from Waterford Kettering high school in 1985. he then went immediately to Specs Howard school of broadcast arts and graduated first in his class with a job in radio at WYFC-Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor. at age 18 he began producing Host Foster Braun's show "Love talks" a two hour daily program that focused on spiritual and mainstream talk radio topics. highlights included one of the first public interviews with film Director Michael Moore, conversations with Christian leaders including J. Vernon McGhee, Charles Swindoll, Charles Colson, Jerry Falwell and John Wimber. coverage of stories like the Jim & Tammy Bakker scandal, the Jimmy Swaggart scandal, a false prediction of the end of the world by Edgar Whisenant who wrote 88 reasons why Jesus will comeback in 1988 (they spoke to him the day after he was proven wrong) the story of Joyce Landorf, a tribute to Rev. Billy Graham, and so much more.

1993 Kevin moved to WJR 760am(The great voice of the Great lakes) and began producing for Jimmy Barrett, Fat Bob Taylor and Larry Patton, a program celebrating old time radio with host Mike Whorf, and Mitch Albom's "Sunday sports Albom" broadcast. he was named the Producer of the Ken Calvert show in March of 1996, he was then reassigned as Executive Producer of the Paul W. Smith morning show in January 1997 until june 1998. then he was asked to move to the David Newman as Executive Producer and later became a Co-Host with David one night a week discussing Faith related issues. Then David Newman had a massive Stroke, retired and was replaced by Host Frank Beckmann in 2003, Kevin was Executive Producer until June, 2009.  Kevin went on to work for Salem Broadcasting and currently works as a talk radio/media consultant in suburban Detroit. He also tutors individuals looking to produce podcasts.
