Slow's BarBQ is a popular restaurant in the Corktown neighborhood of Detroit. The majority owner is Phil Cooley, who moved to Detroit from Chicago.

Slow's incredible popularity has spurred growth and further development in the area around the restaurant, which is located near Michigan Central Station.

In May 2011, Slow's was planning a 1,500 square foot expansion. About half of the needed funding had been raised. Construction was expected to begin in 6-12 months, depending on financing.
