WXYZ-TV, virtual channel 7 (UHF digital channel 41), is an ABC-affiliated (and historically owned-and-operated) television station that serves the Detroit market. The station is owned by the E.W. Scripps Company and is a sister station to WMYD.

The station maintains the #backchannel (for evening news) and #earlyrisers (for morning news) hashtags on Twitter and other social media sites, and engages with the public on those channels.

News anchors include Stephen Clark (evening news).

WXYZ-TV maintains studio and transmitter facilities located at Broadcast House on West 10 Mile Road in Southfield and also operates a news studio inside The Qube building in Downtown, used for the weekday noon newscasts. The television station originally broadcast from studios located in the Maccabees Building on Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit, across from the Detroit Institute of Arts.  In 1959, all of WXYZ's radio and television operations moved into new broadcast facilities at Broadcast House in Southfield, where WXYZ's television operations remain.
