An auction of tax-foreclosed properties. Run in 2 rounds. The 2011 round 2 starts Friday, October 20. The auction has about 13,000 properties. Bidding starts at $500; bidders had to pre-register by October 14 and post $5,000 to bid on multiple sites.

The Land Blank is an independent effort (at least in part by Loveland) started to proxy bid on parcels for owner-occupiers who couldn't register in time.

Why Don't We Own This is a mapping site by Loveland that connects the parcels for sale with condition information from the Detroit Residential Parcel Survey and Google Street View.
