Franklin Konkle and his wife, Maryella Comstock Konkle built this Georgian Revival house circa 1905. Mrs. Konkle was the daughter of former Mayor of Grand Rapids, Charles Comstock. Shelike her father was active in the Democratic Party and she organized the Woodrow Wilson Club in this house in 1919. Members of the Konkle family lived here through the 1940's
