The Alpine Theatre was a two-screen cinema located on Alpine Avenue in Grand Rapids from 1970–2002. It was owned and operated by John D. "Jack" Loeks. The cinema showed second-run movies and had minimal staff.
The Alpine Theatre was also known as:
- The Alpine Twin (it had two screens)
- The Alpine 4 (it showed 4 films during its later years)
- "The cheap movies" (movies there cost much less—99 cents in the 1980s and $1.25 in the late 1990s—than first run movies)
