When I think of Toby Castle, Rabbi Castle's wife, I think of a sweet and caring person who traveled wherever her husband found a congregation to serve; I would say that she never complained about the circumstances in which she and her husband found themselves; she performed the duties of a Rabbis wife and assisted him in whatever manner that she could; she taught Hebrew School in the old building on Front Street; when our first born son arrived, she sent us a beautiful post card from Council Bluff, Iowa expressing her best wishes that our son should be healthy and bring my wife and I much happiness; for some reason her image stays in my mind; I often hope that she has been well cared for; she expressed such concerned for the welfare of others.   Roger Plafkin-Plafkin Brothers-Plafkin Farms, Ada, Michigan
