Friendly Pets is a local business that has been established in Greensboro since 1986. The name has changed a few times over the years but it is still located in the Friendly Center.

They offer different types of pets and breeds, such as:
They offer a range of pure breeds and designer cross breeds of dogs and cats. Friendly Pets also raise the majority of their birds by hand, right in the store. Before birds, exotic pets and small animals are put out, they are screened and also come with a written health warranty.
Pet Lovers Club
Friendly Pets offers a discount club called "Pet Lovers" to all customers. You can receive a membership when you purchase a pet. This is a free membership and allows you to have access to deals and discounts all year long. They also offer club members a frequent buyer punch card. Any time a $10 purchase is made, the card gets punched. When the punch card is full, members can redeem $10 off of the next transaction.
Community
Friendly pets is a family owned business which allows them to connect and reach out in the Greensboro community. They also operate a pet rescue service that puts abandoned dogs and cats in caring homes. Sometimes they even have contests for people in their community. As of right now, they have a contest open for children ages 5 through 12. This contest is called the "Name the Pets Contest."
Hours & Address
Due to COVID-19 the hours of operation have changed. The pet store is open Monday - Thursday from 10 a.m to 6 p.m, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m to 7 p.m, and Sunday from 1 p.m to 6 p.m. They are located at 625 Friendly Center Rd, Greensboro, NC 27408.
