History
The International Festival is an annual event, organized by the International Programs Center ,that celebrates the diversity of the world and within the Greensboro community.
The festival aims to teach and promote awareness of various cultures through entertainment.
The location has changed over the years. It has been hosted on the University’s ‘College Avenue’ as well as in recent years on the lawn of the Elliott University Center. In the instance of rain, the festival moves indoors to the Leonard J. Kaplan Center for Wellness.
The event takes place in Spring, usually at the beginning of April and is open to the general public.
The 2020 International Festival was cancelled due to concerns of COVID-19. Next year's event is currently planned to occur on April 10, 2021.
