The corporation yard is municipal facility in the waterfront (adjacent to the Baywood neighborhood) at the location of the city's former wastewater treatment plant. The yard is used as an office for public works staff (in a trailer) and equipment storage.
The site has been designated as a future elementary school for WCCUSD, Plans for a park to include soccer fields have been discussed, either as an interim use before the school, in combination with a future school, or as a standalone park in the likely case a school is never constructed.
A historic building, known as the Queen Anne, has been temporarily stored on the site since 2009.
There is no schedule for completion of any proposed plans for the property.
