The old Village offices at 10 Main Street may soon house a biotech firm. 2011 is turning out to be quite the year in Saranac Lake:
- The Sears lot is finally reopened!
- The Community Store is about to open in the Blue Gentian
- The Carousel is going up in the William Morris Park
- The Downhill Grill opened in the old Meyer's Drug Store
- There's a coffee shop going into the Egler Block
- There are biotech firms going into the Paul Smiths Electric Company and the old old Village office building
