37 Neil Street was the home of Grocer and band leader H. Ford Towner family from 1925 to 1967.
He was a member of the Saranac Lake Band and the Saranac Lake Business Men's Band. He worked at Sherrill's Grocery and later operated the original A & P in the Spaulding Block. He operated his own grocery, H. F. Towner & Co. at 37 Main Street.
