She married William "Bill" Wallace on September 22, 1932 in St. Bernard's Church; he died in 1973.
She enjoyed canoeing, cross country skiing, boating, and fishing. With her husband, she launched Santa's Jukebox in 1945, an organization that distributed toys to children at Christmas.
