Mrs. William Rockefeller, a remarkable woman of activity and decision, even at her advanced age of nearly 76 years, died very suddenly Saturday of heart disease at the Rockefeller winter home on Jekyl Island, Georgia. Mrs. Rockefeller had spent her summers at the Rockefeller camp at Bay Pond in this county and took much interest in the camp and its appointments. Her husband, a brother of John D. Rockefeller, is the owner of the Bay Pond preserve. Mrs. Rockefeller's maiden name was Almira Geraldine Goodsell. During her life she contributed to hundreds of philanthropies and was very active in war relief work. She is survived by four children, William G. Rockefeller, P. A. Rockefeller, Mrs. D. H. McAlpin and Mrs. Hartley Dodge.
