SARANAC LAKE - Mrs. Alyce S. Coughlin, 65, died Monday at Saranac Lake General Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of the area and had made her home in Bloomingdale for the past 24 years.
Mrs. Coughlin was born July 26, 1914, the daughter of Myron J. Skeels and Elizabeth L. Leary. She had retired as a medical secretary from the Gabriels Sanitorium.
Her husband, Donald, died in July, 1973.
She is survived by a son Donald J., of Bloomingdale; three brothers, Carl, Alvin and Myron Skeels, all of Saranac Lake; one sister, Miss Florence Skeels of Saranac Lake, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the Keough and Son Memorial Chapel. There will be private family calling hours and a private family mass, with Rev. Peter Ward, pastor of St. Paul's Church, as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
