Mrs. Anne Davis Garmany died suddenly Friday afternoon at her home at 124 Lake Street, Saranac Lake.
Born on September 30, 1894, she was the daughter of Henry and Jane Nelson Davis. Her husband Frank Garmany is deceased.
Mrs. Garmany is survived by two brothers, Frank and Nelson Davis, both of Saranac Lake; two sisters. Mrs. Ida Dumas of Schenectady and Mrs. Jane Arnold of Sararac Lake, as well as several nieces and Nephews. Mrs. Garmany attended local schools and was graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1913. From there she went to the Pratt Institute and was employed in New York City until she returned to Saranac Lake.
She was reposing at the Fortune Funeral Home; services were held at 3 p. m. today with the Reverend Kenneth Stevens, assistant pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment is in the family plot at Pine Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers are William Petty, Joseph Thompson, Richard Ely, Albert Pozzi, Herman Rice and Jack Dumas.
