BLOOMINGDALE— J. Arthur Fletcher, 86, died early Sunday morning at his home on the Franklin Falls Road.

Mr. Fletcher was a farmer. He lived all his life in the house where he was born, a son of Bethuel and Sarah Smith Fletcher.

He was a member of the Gabriels Grange and an Honorary member of the Bloomingdale Fire Department.

Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Nellie Wilbur, also of the Franklin Falls Road, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Fletcher home, beginning this evening. The funeral service will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday the Church of the Nazarene in Vermontville with the pastor, the Rev. Dale Stotler, officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in May.

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilbur, and of John Arthur Fletcher was filled to overflowing during a part of last week when many of the nieces and nephews, and also grandnieces and grandnephews, gathered for the funeral of their uncle, John Arthur Fletcher.
