Bethuel Fletcher passed away, after a long illness at his home in Bloomingdale on Thursday, June 2. Funeral was held in the M. E. church Sunday afternoon. Many from adjoining towns were present as a tribute of respect to so well known and so old a resident. Rev. L. Ward conducted the services.

Mr. Fletcher was of the early pioneer stock and was a man of great integrity and fine Christian character. He had been a member of the M. E. church and choir for many years, and was faithful in all his undertakings. He married Miss Sarah Smith of Jay, who survives him.
