Third Casualty In Family

A third casualty among the seven sons of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Morrow of Saranac Lake has occurred with the wounding of Pfc. Kenneth Morrow, 26, in France.

Mr. and Mrs. Morrow were notified of the third casualty by the war department but the bad news was lightened somewhat by the news that their son, Pvt. Vernon Morrow, wounded on September 1 has returned to the United States and is recovering at the naval hospital in Oakland, Galif.

One Morrow boy made the supreme sacrifice fighting at Saipan. He was Pvt. Carlton Morrow, the youngest of the boys. Pvt. Vernon was wounded in the same campaign.
