MRS. NEUBAUER FUNERAL RITES
Mrs. Catherine Neubauer, of 15 McClelland Street, Saranac Lake, died yesterday at St. Margaret's Nursing Home, Gabriels, following a short illness.
Her body is reposing at the Fortune Funeral Home where there will be an American Legion Auxiliary service tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. The Rosary will be recited at 9 p.m. by the Catholic Daughters. Funeral services will held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard's Church.
Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Our Lady Help of Christian's Cemetery, Albany.
Mrs. Neubauer was born on February 16, 1870 in Albany, the daughter of August and Frances Bowers Bauerhaupt. She was married in Albany in 1888 to Charles Neubauer The couple moved here in 1908 for Mrs. Neubauer's health. Mr. Neubauer, who died in 1935, for many years operated the Neubauer and Sons Inc., Public Market at 32 Broadway, this village.
Survivors include three sons, Charles, of Corinth, Louis and Ignatius, of Saranac Lake. There are five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
