Charles C. Town, of St. Armand, served in the Civil War in Company C, 118th Regiment. He was a sawyer and blacksmith.

C, August 29, 1862; promoted corporal, May 6, 1863; absent on detached service in Quartermaster's Department, U. S. Colored Troops, at muster-out of company.
