Charles H. Duffy was a World War II veteran.  He was a son of Henry Leo and Anna T. (Macguire) Duffy.

SARANAC LAKE - Charles H. Duffy, 54, a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake, died Tuesday, April 6. He had made his home at 21 Edward St.

Mr. Duffy was born Sept. 12, 1927 in Saranac Lake, the son of Henry Leo and Anna T. (Macguire) Duffy.

He was a veteran of World War II and had served in the Army. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, the former Lillian M. Titus of Saranac Lake; three sons, Robert William Duffy of Geneva, and Charles Henry Duffy and Hugh Owen Duffy of Saranac Lake; four daughters, Mrs. Steven (Faye Ann) Clark of Ticonderoga, Mrs. David (Kathleen Marie) Jenner of Maryland, Colleen Anne Duffy of Arizona and Patricia Ellen Duffy of Saranac Lake.

A brother, Owen H. Duffy of Dallas, Tex., a sister, Mrs. Eugene (Margaret) Crim of Auburn and five grandchildren also survive.

Calling hours will be held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. p.m., at the Keough and Son Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:15 a.m., at St. Bernard's Church, with the Rev. C.J. McAvoy officiating.

Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in May.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Saranac Lake Rescue Squad.
