C. TROMBLEY, 60 LONG ILL, DIES

Clifton E. Trombley, 60 years old, a life-long resident of this village, died in the hospital at Ogdensburg last night following a long illness.

He formerly lived at 16 Algonquin avenue. Born here Feb. 24, 1892, he was the son of Edgar and Kitty Stearns Trombley.

His wife, the former Elaine Castle, died here in 1933.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Fortune Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Ernest B. Mounsey will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.

A veteran of World War I and a member of the New York State National Guard, Mr. Trombley for many years worked at the River street Armory.

In addition to many cousins in Saranac Lake he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Charles Dickert, of West Hartford, Conn., two nieces, Mrs. Willard B. Green, also of West Hartford, and Mrs. Ernest Stumf, of Buffalo, and a nephew, Herbert Kitson, also of Buffalo.
