Mrs. McMasters Service Sunday

Funeral services win be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Fortune Funeral Home, Saranac Lake, for Mrs. Joseph McMasters, [sic] 74, who died Thursday evening at the Physicians Hospital, Plattsborgh, where she had been a patient for about a month.

Rev. Norman M. Moss, pastor of the Saranac Lake Methodist Church, will officiate.

Interment will be in the Harrietstown Cemetery.

Mrs. McMasters was born at Cottam, Ontario, Canada, on August 26, 1882, a daughter of Duncan and Esther Helkie Rawlins. Mr. and Mrs. McMasters were married at Essex on June 14, 1911 and she moved to the McMaster Farm on Crossroads, Harrietstown, where she continued to reside until her death. Her husband, a life-long resident of this area who had operated the McMaster Dairy during his lifetime, died April 3.

Mrs. McMasters was a member of the Eastern Star, the Brighton and Harrietsown Grange and the Saranac Lake Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Jack, of Harrietstown, and a daughter, Mrs. Thomas McDonald, of Lake Colby. There are two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Boggs and Mrs. Glenn McCreery, both of Essex, Ont., and three brothers, Walter Rawlins, of Detroit, Mich., Ralph Rawlins, of Leamington, Ont., and Everett Rawlins, of The Rock, Georgia. There are also two grandchildren.
