MUNCIL RITES ARE SATURDAY

Mrs. Delia Mae Muncil, longtime resident of Paul Smiths and Vermontville, died at the home of her son, Guy Muncil, North Tonawanda, Tuesday evening.

Mrs. Muncil had been with her son since October.

A prayer service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Fortune Funeral Home, Saranac Lake, and followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. in the Methodist Church, Vermontville. Rev. Bealer Berquist will officiate. Interment will be in the Vermontville Cemetery.

Mrs. Muncil was born December 22, 1867 in Goldsmith, the daughter of Alex and Mary Doty. Her husband, John Muncil, died in 1931.

Survivors in addition to her son, Guy, include two sons, Benjamin, of Rainbow Lake, and Halbert, of Glendale, L.I.; two daughters, Mrs. Valeria Quinn, of Scarboro, Me., and Mrs. Constance Skinner, of Lion. There are two brothers, Ormond Doty of Rainbow Lake, and Philip, of Nashua, NJL; a sister, Mrs. Adelaine Sargent, of Nashua, 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
