E. Harrison Hallock was a groundskeeper at Ray Brook State Hospital. He lived at at 16 McClelland Street. He was also member of the undefeated 1909 Saranac Lake Ice Hockey team.

E. Harrison Hallock

E. Harrison (Harry) Hallock, a resident of Saranac Lake for 65 years, died Friday afternoon at Saranac Lake General Hospital where he had been a patient since March 11.

Mr. Hallock was born in Walton, son of Dr. John J. and Ada Jane Merrill Hallock. He and his wife, the former Mary Burg, who survives, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July. They made their home at 16 McClelland Street. Mr. Hallock was a member of the Presbyterian Church and had retired in 1958 as groundman at Ray Brook State Hospital.

In addition to Mrs. Hallock, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Betty Brown of North Hollywood, Calif.; two sons, John Henry of San Antonio, Tex. and E. Harrison, Jr. of Kewanee, Ill.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A funeral service was held at the Fortune Funeral Home at 2 p. m. today, with the Rev. W. James Erdmann, pastor of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in May in Pine Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hallock of 16 McClelland Street, Saranac Lake are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today. They were married on July 17, 1912 at the Dutch Reformed Church in Albany.
