Harry E. Duso, Jr., known as Ed, was a son of Harry E. Duso. He was a World War II Veteran. He worked at the Crescent Bay Marina on Lower Saranac Lake.

SARANAC LAKE - Harry E. "Ed" Duso, Jr., 80 of Saranac Lake and Bradenton, Fla., died peacefully with his wife Jeanne at his side Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, at his home in Florida.

Born on July 26, 1925 in Saranac Lake, he was the son of Harry E. and Sylvia (Kimball) [Duso].

He married the former Jeanne B. Gladd.

Ed was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army and was a member of the 11th Army Division.

He was a member and past chief of the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the American Legion Post 447 of Saranac Lake and a member of the Moose Lodge 1223 of Bradenton, Fla.

He spent most of his life working for the family owned business at Duso's Sales and Service and Crescent Bay Marina on Lower Saranac Lake.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, a son, Craig, and his wife, Vicki of Myrtle Beach, S. C., a daughter Theresa A LeBaron of Saranac Lake, six grandchildren: […] and one brother, Donald Duso of Saranac Lake.

He was predeceased by his parents and his son, Tad E. Duso…
