Dr. Edward H. Levy was staff physician at Ray Brook State Tuberculosis Hospital in the late 1930s. In Saranac Lake, the Levy family lived at 93 Riverside Drive.

Dr. Levy Passes On
Funeral services for Dr. Edward Harry Levy, staff physician at Ray Brook Hospital for several years, were conducted last Friday afternoon at the Jewish Community Center. Dr. Levy died Wednesday morning following a major operation.
Services were conducted by Rabbi Schoenkopf, of Plattsburg. Union Memorial Services also were held at the community center by the Matthews Kileen post, American Legion and the local post of the Disabled American Veterans.
The body was shipped to New York Friday evening and burial was Sunday in Mt. Hope Cemetery in New York.
Doctor Levy had been a resident of Saranac Lake since 1925. He came here as a health seeker and joined the staff at Ray Brook after his cure. About a year ago he retired and took up residence in this village. He was admitted to the hospital a month ago as a patient.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Levy; two sons, Allan and Arthur; a sister, Mrs. Olga Faraenkel, and a nephew, Richard Faraenkel.
