Edward M. Jacobi, 42, of 1 Edward Street, Saranac Lake, died yesterday afternoon at Will Rogers Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Jacobi was born Dec. 28, 1920 in New York City, son of Edward J. and Madeline Warganz Jacobi. He was a theater electrician and a veteran of World War II. He also was a member of the American Legion and the Saranac Lake Elks Club .
Survivors are his wife, the former Lois Rasmussen, and a nine-month old daughter, Patricia, of Saranac Lake; a brother, Thomas of New York City and a sister, Mrs. Mary G. Terzi.
Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Garden Chapel of the Keough and Son Funeral Home. An American Legion service will be held this evening at 7:30 and an Elks service at 8 o'clock . The Rev. W. James Erdmann, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, will conduct a funeral service in the chapel at 3 p. m. Friday. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
