SARANAC LAKE - Elsie Dami, 2 St. Bernard St., a resident of the area for 59 years, died Saturday, April 2, at the General Hospital of Saranac Lake.
She was born in New York City, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Boenzel) Luft.
She was married to William A. Dami, who died March 16, 1983.
Mrs. Dami was a member of St. Luke's Guild and was a Budget Box worker.
Survivors include two sons, William Dami of Sloatsburg, and John Dami of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Kate Gardner of Winnsboro, S.C.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Fortune Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fredrick Dennis, rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in May.
