SARANAC LAKE - Ethel Mae Richardson, 94, of Forest Home Road, died Friday, July 29, at the Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid.
She was born Oct. 28, 1893, in New York City, the daughter of William and Emma (Hutmann) Walsh.
On Jan. 29,1914 she was married to Myron Richardson. He died in 1958.
She was a resident of Saranac Lake for most of her life. She was a licensed practical nurse for many years until her retirement in 1965.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Dorothy) Hoyt of Saranac Lake and Mrs. Harold (Jean) Lavigne of Lake Clear; 13 grandchildren; 31 greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren and two nephews.
Calling hours are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., today at the Fortune Funeral Home in Saranac Lake.
A funeral service will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Pine Ridge Cemetery here.
Donations in Mrs. Richardson's name may be made to the Saranac Lake Rescue Squad in care of the funeral home.
