Died at Plattsburg, Thursday night, May 8th, Etta Littlejohn, wife of Albert Stickney, after a lingering illness, bravely and patienly [spelled this way] borne. Mrs. Stickney was a good wife and mother, a loyal friend and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to known her. She leaves to mourn her loss an aged father, James Littlejohn of Lake Placid, aged 89 years; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Scrivers of White Plains; her husband, Albert Stickney; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Brush and Miss Ruth Stickney both of Plattsburg, and two sons, Floyd Stickney of Lake Placid and Stanley Stickney of Saranac Lake, besides a host of friends. The funeral was hold from the Episcopal church, Rev. Sidney T. Ruck officiating. Burial in North Elba cemetery.
