MRS. VOSBURGH, A TEACHER, DIES

Mrs. Eva May Vosburgh, a resident of this area for thirty years, died early this morning at a local nursing home following a long illness.

Mrs. Vosburgh was born July 2, 1887 in East Dickinson, the daughter of Fred and Winnie Miller Woods. She was educated at the Brushton Training School and taught grade school at Brushton, Rochester and Coreys. She was married and widowed twice. Her first husband was Ward Beckman and the second was Frank Vosburgh.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Helen Brown of Bloomingdale; Mrs. Clarice Eastman of Rochester and Mrs. Janet Raynor of Virginia. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Hiram Leary of Merchantsville, N.J. and Mrs. Joseph Kelly of Pine Hill, N.J.; five grand children and seven great grandchildren

Mrs. Vosburgh is reposing at the Fortune Funeral Home where a service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Calvin Seiferth of the Bloomingdale Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in May in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
