SARANAC LAKE — Private funeral services took place Saturday for Eva (Disco) Talbert, 94, who died Friday, July 24, at Mercy Healthcare Center, Tupper Lake, where she had been a resident since 1985. She was born May 20, 1893, in Saranac Lake, the daughter of Bert and Elizabeth (Douglas) Disco. She was married to the late Benjamin Talbert, who died March 20, 1951.
Mrs. Talbert was a member of St. Bernard's Church. She lived most of her life at 24 Ampersand Avenue here.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Elaine) Leahy of Saranac Lake; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A son, Richard Talbert, predeceased her on Jan. 31, 1983.
Private funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Keough and Son Funeral Home. Burial was in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
