Frederic P. Bronson  was a summer resident of Oseetah Lake; he owned Camp Wapiti until the early 1950s.  He was a World War I veteran.

SARANAC LAKE — Frederic. P. Bronson, a summer resident here, died on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the King Street Nursing Home in Port Chester.

Mr. Bronson was the husband of the late Helen Van Wyck Bronson.

He owned Camp Wapiti on Miller's Pond until the early 1950s, when it was sold.

Mr. Bronson went to the Choate School in Wallingford, Conn., and Yale University, He saw action in World War I as a field clerk in the Engineer Corps Supply Service, and was an interpreter as well.

He was a golfer who played at the Lake Placid Club and was a member of the Tin Whistlers in Pinehurst, N.C., and was active in the Sports Car Club of America.

Mr. Bronson was a member of the Saranac Lake Fish and Game Club.
