Mrs. Fredericka White
SARANAC LAKE - Mrs. Fredericka M. White of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and a former resident of Ray Brook, died in Victoria.
She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She graduated from the Toronto Conservatory of Music.
In 1932, she married F. Clark White, M.D. They moved to Ray Brook State Hospital for Tuberculosis in 1943 where Dr. White was on staff until his retirement in 1970.
While in the Saranac Lake Lake Placid area, Mrs. White was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Saranac Lake and the Lake Placid Garden Club.
Her husband did in 1972.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Curran of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Craig (Heather) Holt of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Robert (Sheila) Tarry of Mount Vernon, Wash.; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two nephews and a niece. A memorial service was held at the Metropolitan Church Chapel in Victoria on June 17.
