Dr. G. M. Abbott was a doctor who served on the original medical board of the Saranac Lake General Hospital in 1912. He served for years as secretary and treasurer of the Franklin County Medical Society. 1
An alumnus of the Albany Medical College, he came to Saranac Lake in 1901. 2
He lived at 24 Church Street in Saranac Lake.
