He was born June 18, 1903 at Dickastron, Greece, the youngest of eight children born to Ephrasina and Nicklas Lambos. He attended public schools in Europe and worked with his brothers in masonry contracting until he was drafted to build roads for the armed forces during the war with Turkey. Having vacationed in Schroon Lake, Lake Placid and Ray Brook, they eventually purchased Gauthier's Cabins in 1947 and built LePetit Restaurant which they operated for 26 years. LePetit is today's Casa del Sol which they sold in 1971. Mr. Lambos also became an American citizen while in Saranac Lake, and was a member of the Whiteface Mt Lodge #789 Free and Accepted Masons.

Mr. and Mrs. Lambos made their home since as the first residents of Becky Ave. in Tupper Lake, where his wife resides. Their daughter Eleonor Elizabeth, lives at the Green Gables on 24 Wawbeek Ave.
