George T. Booth was a World War I veteran.  He worked for 21 years as a pharmacist at the Trudeau Sanatorium.

George T. Booth, 71, died Saturday at his home at 44 Helen Street, Saranac Lake.

Mr. Booth was born May 9, 1893 in Buffalo, a son of Thomas and Harriet Friday Booth. He was a graduate of Buffalo University and had worked for 21 years as a pharmacist at the Trudeau Sanatorium. He also was a veteran of World War I with service with the Army Ordnance Corps. He was married 42 years ago in Saranac Lake to Pauline Hastings who survives.

Other survivors are two daughters. Mrs. Jean Salamy of Tupper Lake and Miss Nancy Booth of Schenectady, a son, Thomas of Littleton, Colo.; four grandsons; and a brother, Edwin, of Saranac Lake.

A funeral service wall be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fortune Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Partridge, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
