GERTRUDE CURRIER

Mrs. Gertrude Currier, 85, died Tuesday afternoon in Martinsville, W. Va. The funeral service will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus' Church. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus' Cemetery. Mrs. Currier was formerly Gertrude Le Gris. Two children, Natalie Blanchard of Malone and Walter Currier of Schenectady, survive.

Gertrude B. Currier

Mrs. Gertrude B. Currier, wife of Alfred W. Currier, died suddenly Saturday evening at about 7 o'clock at her home at 12 Main Street, Saranac Lake.

Mrs. Currier was born Jan. 10, 1886 in [illegible], a daughter of James M. and Elnora Alexander B[illegible]. She had been a teacher of home economics and gym and taught in Saranac Lake in 1916 and 1917. She then taught in New York City until her marriage on Dec. 18, 19??. She was a member of the Church of St. Luke of Saranac Lake.

Survivors beside her husband are a niece, Elnora? Bartlett? of Merrillsville [Morrisonville?], and a nephew, Kenneth ? of ?, N.J.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home. The rector of St. Luke's, the Rev. Peter Hill will conduct the funeral service at the funeral home at 11 am Tuesday. Burial will be in the Goodspeed Cemetery in Franklin Falls at the [ ] convenience of the family.
